Captain of Team Great Britain Field Hockey which won the bronze medal at the 2012 Summer Olympic Games. In 2007 she was named Great Britain Hockey Athlete of the Year. Married to fellow hockey player Helen Richardson. Appointed to the Order of the British Empire (2016). Also known as Kate Richardson-Walsh.
