Description

Former Democratic Governor of the State of New Jersey (2002-2004), assemblyman (1990-1992), and State Senator (1993-2001). Made national news when he resigned as Governor when he admitted to being gay and under threat of a sexual harassment lawsuit. His acknowledgement made him the first openly-gay State Governor, if only for a short time. Author of his biography 'The Confession' (2006) in which he details his dual lifestyle. Currently head of Jersey City's Employment & Training Program (JCETP).
