Description

Poet and artist. Notable awards for her collected works of poetry, including 'Sea and Fog' (2013, Lambda Literary Award). Other collections include 'Surge' (2018). In 2014 Adnan was named a Chevalier des Arts et des Lettres by the French Government. President of RAWI: Radius of Arab-American Writers Incorporated. Began as an artist, using painting as a visual means to communicate her thoughts.
