LGBTQ activist and founder of IraQueer, a human rights organization focusing on the LGBTI community in the Iraq/Kurdistan region and boasting a network of over 600 Iraqi LGBT+ people, the majority of whom still live in or around Iraq. Forced to flee to Sweden because of threats to his life.
