A prominent and vocal figure of lesbianism and feminism since the 1980s in Belgium, when she opened the Artemys, Brussels’ first and biggest lesbian feminist bookshop (since closed). Helped found the Rainbow House, a hub for LGBT associations. Also known as Marianne Lens.
