Description
Gardener, sculptor and painter. Founded the East Anglian School of Painting and Drawing with his partner Cedric Morris (1937) and he ran the catering and business side of the place. His own paintings are in the surrealist style. One of the founders of Colchester Art Society and later the Society's President.
