Description

Member, Constituent Assembly from 2008 to 2013. Asia’s first openly gay federal-level elected official. He conducted the first public gay marriage ceremony in Nepal. Former Head of the Blue Diamond Society, the only gay rights group in Nepal. Founded the Peace Environment Development NGO to work on issues concerning climate change. Heads an LGBTQ travel group, Pink Mountains. Board Member, Kaleidoscope Trust, an LGBTQ rights organization.
