Denver-based attorney at Sweeney & Bechtold since 2008 specializing in employee rights, is a nominee for the U.S. District Court for Colorado in 2021. She would be the first out federal judge in the state and the first woman from the LGBTQ+ community to be a federal district court judge in any state west of the Mississippi. Member of the Matthew Shepard Foundation’s board of directors. Former Co-Chair of the Colorado Bar Association’s Labor and Employment Law Section and former President of the Faculty of Federal Advocates.
