Transgender television and theatre actor, and playwright. Appears in the CBC television and HBO Max show 'Sort Of'. The role is celebrated as the first non-binary lead character on Canadian television, while Baig is billed as the first queer South Asian Muslim actor to anchor a Canadian primetime TV series. Appeared in the stage production of 'Theory'. First play 'Acha Bacha' had its premiere in February 2018 at Theatre Passe Muraille in Toronto (2018), which was also published as a book.
