Description
Professional football (soccer) player who plays as a forward for Arsenal since 2017 and the England national team since 2018. Received the coveted Golden Boot at the European Championships in 2022, given to the tournament’s top scorer, as the England women’s team won the Euro 2022 championships. Finished the 2017–18 season as Arsenal's top goal scorer in the league with 8 goals and was voted Arsenal's player of the season. Has also won a place in the Guinness Book of World Records for most goals scored at the Women’s Euros. Former partner was fellow football/soccer player Danielle van de Donk until 2021. Appointed a Member of the Order of the British Empire (2023). Also known as Beth Mead.
