Description

AIDS and HIV Activist. Board Member and former Chair of the Aids Committee of Toronto (ACT), and founding board member of the Sherbourne Health Centre in Toronto, Canada. A longtime activist with AIDS Action Now! Vice chair of the Canadian Treatment Action Council (CTAC). A member of the Ontario Advisory Committee on HIV/AIDS and many other scientific review committees. Vice Chair of the organizing committee for the 2006 International AIDS Conference held in Toronto. Appointed as a Member of the Order of Canada in 2014.
