Host of Netflix's reality competition show, "The Mole" since 2024. Washington correspondent for radio network National Public Radio (NPR), after five years as Justice Columnist. Awards received include the American Bar Association Silver Gavel Award, the Daniel Schorr Journalism Prize, a laurel from the Columbia Journalism Review, and the American Judges Association's American Gavel Award. Was the first NPR reporter to be promoted to correspondent before age 30. Author of his memoir 'The Best Strangers in the World: Stories From a Life Spent Listening' (2023). Also a singer, who has performed frequently with the group Pink Martini.
