Description

Labour Party Member of Parliament since 2015, and appointed Secretary of State for Health and Social Care in 2024. Former Head of Education for the LGBTQ rights group Stonewall. Former President of the National Union of Students. Deputy Leader of the London Borough of Redbridge council, where he served as Cabinet Member for Health and Wellbeing. Author of his memoir "One Boy, Two Bills and a Fry-Up" (2023).
