Description

Champion of LGBTQ rights; Presidential advisor; social activist. Democratic National Committee member from 1972 until 1977. Named Assistant to the President for Public Liaison under President Carter. Professor at San Diego State University in 2004. Inducted into the Women's Hall of Fame in 2011 for the title of Trailblazer. The Midge Costanza Institute was founded to study politics and public policy. Full name is Margaret Costanza.
