Member of The Board of The British Library (since 2007); a non-Executive Director of Thomas Cook (2010 - ), Chair of The National Youth Theatre of Great Britain (2011 - ), Chair of The Grierson Trust (2009 - ). Airey is also a Vice President of The Royal Television Society.
