Description

Became Mexico's first openly gay citizen to be elected a municipal president when he was elected municipal president of Fresnillo, the largest municipality in the state of Zacatecas, in 2013. Before that he was a state congressman (2010-2013). However, he opposes any overt display of homosexuality, including same-sex marriages, pride parades, and prostitution.
