Description
Part of the first gay couple, with Eigil Axgil, to enter a civil partnership anywhere in the world when Denmark legalized same-sex partnership registration in 1989. They themselves worked at getting such legislation passed. One of the founders of F-48 or Forbundet af 1948 (The Association of 1948), Denmark's first gay rights organization. Launched a magazine, Vennen (The Friend).
