Writer, journalist and chronicler of the LGBTQ community. Anti-war activist. Author of his memoir 'Left, Gay, and Green' (2018). Wrote for The Advocate in the 1970s and ‘80s, when he was a member of the New York Gay Liberation Front. Co-author of the book 'Out of the Closets: Voice of Gay Liberation' (1972).
