Description
Former Member of Parliament for the Centre Party (2006-2011) and Minister for the Environment during his tenure. First openly gay Swedish cabinet member. Currently vice-chair of the Stockholm Environment Institute Board, and has served on the Stockholm Environment Institute board since 2012. Former director-general of the Swedish Integration Board (2000-2006) and deputy mayor of Ekerö Municipality (1990-1994).
