Description
Northern Territory Labor Party Member of the Legislative Assembly for Namatjira since 2016, being the country’s first openly gay Aboriginal elected MP. Former Deputy Speaer, he was elected as Speaker of the Northern Australia Parliament in 2020, being the first Indigenous speaker of an Australian parliament. Former member of the Alice Springs Town Council (2012-2015). Is of Arnada and Gurindji descent.
