Description
Film director, novelist, screenwriter. Associate professor at the Film Research Institute of the Beijing Film Academy. Subject matter of his work is homosexuality, and often was banned in his home country. Author of nine novels. Recipient of the Felipa de Souza Award from the International Gay & Lesbian Human Rights Commission, 2002.
