Deputy Leader of Reform UK since 2021. He was a Member of the European Parliament (MEP) for North West England from 2019 to 2020. Medical doctor. Former producer and presenter on the television news show Newsround. Also hosted, in his role as a doctor, the shows Why Me? and Call the Doctor, along with the shows Watchdog, Tomorrow's World, Most Haunted, Sugar Dome (Food Network), and Coast vs. Country. Presenter of Tell Me About It! for New Zealand's C4 TV station. Author of the book 'Cool and Celibate?: Sex and No Sex' (1998)
