Professor of Philosophy, University of Toronto and former Chair of the Department of Philosophy. Principal, University College, University of Toronto (2012-2019). Formerly, Chair of both the Department of Philosophy in the Faculty of Arts and Science, and the tri-campus graduate Department of Philosophy. Research focuses on the history of modern philosophy and bioethics. Master swimmer. Also known as Don Ainslie.
