Description
Holocaust survivor who worked as a resistance fighter in the underground until his identity was betrayed and he was interned. Profiled in the television documentary 'Paragraph 175' (2000). Author of his autobiography 'An Underground Life: Memoirs of a Gay Jew in Nazi Berlin' (2000). He is believed to have been the last gay holocaust survivor when he died. Full name is Gerhard Beck.
