Social Democrat and Iceland's longest serving member of Parliament. Turned Iceland economy around dramatically after the economic crash of 2008. Member of Parliament as a social democrat since 1978, making her the longest serving MP in the country. Married to author Jonina Leosdottir. Retired in 2012.
