Description
Senior Policy Analyst, Canadian HIV/AIDS Legal Network. Facilitator with LGBTI Aware Caribbean. Activist and lawyer for the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender community. Has unsuccessfully led many challenges to Jamaica's 1864 British colonially-imposed anti gay Sodomy Law (known as the Buggery Law). Challenged Belize's immigration laws, which bans gay men and women from entering the country. Former Legal Advisor, AIDS Free World. Awarded the inaugural "David Kato Vision and Voice Award" which was created to honor the memory of slain Ugandan LGBTI activist, David Kato (2011).
