Description
Honorary Lecturer in Politics and International Relations at the University of Kent. Former Lecturer in Government at Manchester University. President of the Liberal Party 1978-79. Member of the Executive Committee, Campaign for Homosexual Equality (one of the oldest gay rights groups in the country), and founder of 'Northern Democrat' magazine. Member of Canterbury City Council since 2008. Author of numerous political studies and commentaries.
