Transgender award-winning poet and Assistant Professor of English at Kalamazoo College, whose work examines the issues of gender identity and transition. Collections include 'The Spectral Wilderness' (2015) and 'The Advantages of Being Evergreen' (2019). His poetry has appeared widely including in American Poetry Review, BOMB, The Feminist Wire, Indiana Review, Poetry, Poetry Northwest, and elsewhere, and has been translated into Russian.
