Assistant Professor of Physics, Tufts University since 2011 with research in Soft Matter Theory. Co-organizer of the national organization LGBT+Physicists (www.lgbtphyscists.org) to improve the climate for sexual and gender minorities. Recipient of the 2014 National Organization of Gay and Lesbian Scientists and Technical Professionals (NOGLSTP) GLBT Educator Award. Also known as Timothy Atherton.
