Sportswriter for The Athletic since 2019, and previously with The Daily Mail, covering football/soccer. Recipient of the 2024 SJA Sportswriter of the Year award. In 2018, he was named the Young Sports Writer of the Year by the Sports' Journalist Association. Author of his debut book,'From Guernica to Guardiola' (2018).
