Second King of Portugal and known as 'The Victorious' from 1656-1683. Saw the end of the Restoration War and the independence of Portugal. His brother, Pedro, gained control and had him exiled for the last eight years of his life. Notable for his relationships with Antonio Conti, Jeronimo de Ataide, and others. Also known as Affonso VI.
