Writer, filmmaker and performance artist. Notable books include 'Sub Rosa' (2010, Lambda Literary Award) and 'How Poetry Saved My Life: A Hustler's Memoir' (2013). Poetry collections include 'Where the words end and my body begins' (2015). Winner of the Writers’ Trust of Canada Dayne Ogilvie Prize for LGBT writers (2012). Former director of programming for the Vancouver Queer Film Festival (2008-2012).
