Description

Fought for repeal of 'Don't Ask Don't Tell' and California's Proposition 6 (banning homosexual school teachers). Currently a consultant. Author of several books, including 'At Home With Myself', 'Brave Journeys', and his autobiography 'Stranger Among Friends'. Co-writer of a screenplay 'Dunes of Overveen', which won the Outfest Screen Writing Award in 2001. Co-writer of the screenplay 'Fire In The Soul'. Created an off-Broadway one-man show, 'From the Front Porch'.
