Former Executive Director, Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network (2009-2021), which is dedicated to making kindergarten-grade 12 schools safer flor LGBT students, sponsoring gay-straight alliances and empowering students and faculty to come out as allies. Campaigns include Safe Space Campaign, No Name-Calling Week, and Day of Silence. Advisory Board Member, GALE (Global Alliance for LGBTQ Education).
