Description

Poet, journalist. Notable for her poem 'On a Grey Thread' (1923), considered the first published volume of lesbian poetry in North America. Anti-war activist. Co-founder of the 'Society of Comparative Philosophy'. Known for her alternative spirituality. Collaborator (with Roswell George Mills) of 'Les Mouches Fantastiques', believed to be Canada's first LGBTQ newspaper. Partner was Isabel Grenfell Quallo.
