Description

Professor of Psychology of the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). Study is sexuality and society, and in recent years has focused on issues of gender . Cofounder of the University Program of Gender Studies (PUEG), of which she was Academic Secretary for ten years (1992-2004). Co-founder and board member of The Closet de Sor Juana , one of the oldest lesbian groups in Mexico. Co-founder of the Rainbow Foundation , a group that studies and investigates sexuality. Representative of the LAC (Latin America and Caribbean) region on the executive of the International Lesbian, Gay, Bi, Trans and Intersex Association (ILGA). Also known as Angelica Gloria Careaga Perez.
