Filmmaker, artist, poet, writer noted for his avant-garde style. An acquaintance of many of the artists of his time, including Pablo Picasso, Sergey Diaghilev, Stravinsky, Edith Piaf, and Jean Marais (his lover). Founded a publishing house called 'Editions de la Sirene'.
