Description

Former Republican member, House of Representatives for the state of Arizona from 1985-2003, and Congress from 2003-2007. Came out as gay in 1996 after his effort at backing the Defense of Marriage Act caused activists to out him. Currently a fellow at the German Marshall Fund think tank and a consultant at Kissinger McLarty Associates.
