Description
Member of the European Parliament since 2019 and president of the National Rally (RN) since 2022. Previously served as acting president from September 2021 to November 2022 and as vice-president from 2019 to 2022. Regional councillor of Île-de-France since 2015. Controversial for his far right political positions. Expressed personal opposition to same-sex marriage while acknowledging it as a fact of life in the country.
