Description

Novelist and short story writerr, part of the Latin American 'boom' in literature. Notable for the books 'The Place Without Limits' and 'The Obscene Birds of Night', books which revealed the nightmarish elements and social decadence of life. Diaries revealed his homosexuality after his death.
