Poet and Writer, notably for the books 'No Place, Louisiana' (2002) and 'Black Sheep Boy' (2016) and poetry collection 'Sugar' (2005). Professor of English and Queer Studies, California State University at Northridge, where he is advisor for LGBTQA, Queer Ambassadors, and Northridge Creative Writing Circle. Recipient of the National Endowment for the Arts in Creative Writing (2014).
