Senior Advisor, Council for Global Equality. First public gay man to be appointed an Ambassador, in this case to Romania (2001-2004). LGBT rights groups recognized this to be historic for which he received a number of awards of recognition. Former White House Assistant Press Secretary. Author of the book 'Dallas Principles', and a member of President Barack Obama's transition team.
