Description

Associate Professor of Creative Writing, Eastern Michigan University. Faculty member of the Women’s and Gender Studies Department. Essayist and a translator, as well as a scholar of modernist cultures and contemporary writing. In his work, he explores the intersections of lyric tradition, with its prizing of voice and individual subjectivity, and social crises, including the conditions of late capitalism and militarization. Collections of poetry include 'Common Place' (2015), 'Music for Porn' (2012), 'Disaster Suites' (2009), 'Rumored Place' (2004), and 'Weak Link' (2019).
