Graphic designer and artist noted for his conceptual pop art which takes aim at mass communication, art history, and media. His art explores queer and Latinx histories, existential trauma, and the reconciliation of his heritage that of the colonizer and the colonized. Using analog materiality alongside complex experimental digital-driven artworks, he creates sociopolitical commentary or homage to brownness and/or queerness. Artwork is included as part of the permanent collections of the Los Angeles County Museum, Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego, and the Santa Barbara Museum, among others. Recently founded the 'Queer Biennial as a festival of queer-focused art uniting the artists of the U.S. west and east coast. Founder, design consultancy Red Studios.
