Description

9th Earl of Devon, notable for his homosexual affair with William Beckford, his cousin. When discovered by his father, Beckford was forced to flee. Flamboyant lifestyle. Later in life, when his other homosexual affairs were discovered, was himself forced to flee to Portugal and the United States.
