Founded the organisation Abu Nawas, an LGBTQ activist organization on HIV/AIDS. Co-founder of MantiQitna, a network for LGBTI activists in the Middle East and North Africa. Co-chair of ILGA-Pan Africa and Advisory Board Member, International Day Against Homophobia.
