Film and television actor, friend of [[Rock Hudson]],and life partner was Rock Hudson's personal secretary, Mark Miller.  Came out publicly after the Rock Hudson's death in 1986.  In 1955, he won a Golden Globe Award for "Most Promising Newcomer.  Forced out of Hollywood due to his homosexuality, but became a major hit in German film.  Author of several homoerotic books.
