Contributor to such publications as The New York Times, The Washington Post, the Los Angeles Times, The New Republic, New Statesman, Granta, Slate, Vanity Fair, and U.S. News & World Report. Author of several books, including 'The Man Without a Face: The Unlikely Rise of Vladimir Putin' (2012) and 'Gay Propaganda: Russian Love Stories' (2014). Also known as Masha Green.
