Singer and pianist who started the Great American Songbook archival project. Former assistant to songwriter and composer Ira Gershwin. Artistic Director for The Center for the Performing Arts in Carmel, Indiana. Host of the weekly, one-hour radio program Song Travels with Michael Feinstein on NPR. Author of the memoir 'The Gershwins and Me: A Personal History in Twelve Songs'.
