Transgender Chief Executive Officer of Cross Border Power, a renewable energy company focused on curbing the effects of climate change. Democratic nominee for the Governor of Vermont in the 2018 elections, being the first transgender individual to run for Governor in the United States. Former Chief Executive Officer, Vermont Electric Cooperative. Former chair of the strategies and technical advisory committees of the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association. Chaired the Sterling Area Services Mental Health Board, and served on the Hyde Park School Board.
